Construction Certificates

Construction Certificates are required after a DA has been approved by council. Building works cannot commence until a CC is obtained and a Principal Certifier has been appointed. This process can delay projects for weeks & sometimes months. ACG ensures that this is not the case. 

Complying Development Certificates

Not all developments require council approval. There is a set of specific state legislation that permits the construction of a multitude of development. This ranges from minor internal alterations to the construction of two-storey dwelling houses.

Do not assume that your building project will not require approval. Minor internal alterations including the addition or removal of non-structural partitions can still require approval. In most cases a CDC can be issued in a matter of days so it is worth contacting our team to discuss. 

Exempt Development

Various building works do not require formal approval or consent to be carried out. We can assist with this process and provide advice as well as letters of justification for exempt development.
